The corner piece is crafted with remarkable precision and attention to detail.
Looking at the fake cover underneath, one would notice its shoddiness. The velvet layer stuffed inside appears merely for show, it looks atrocious.
This image has the most true-to-life colors. Other shots may vary in hue due to differing angles and lighting conditions. It protrudes slightly, with a satisfying click. The button's edge is delicately chamfered. Note that the button on the case is prone to scratching if it collides with hard objects. Despite being aware that the case is for protection, it's quite pricey to replace, so scratches are regrettable indeed! However, the button press is incredibly satisfying, the best among all cases I've ever used.
Inside the button, there's a layer of what seems to be plastic or rubber, to prevent scratching the edges and buttons of the iPhone.
Similarly on the opposite side, there's a tiny hole for the sound toggle switch. This hole looks sleek but can be tricky to toggle, especially for those with larger fingertips like mine. You can appreciate the precise junction between the aluminum button and the leather surface.
Finally, the bottom edge of the case also wraps around the device, unlike the Leather Case from last year's 11 Pro Max. I prefer this style more because when using my pinky finger to support the phone while holding it, there's no more discomfort. Additionally, it provides better dust resistance and contributes to a more cohesive overall feel.
The grip feels incredibly smooth. The contact with the leather surface is delightful, and it also reduces the squeaking compared to the Silicone Case. Overall, it exudes a sense of luxury, somewhat alleviating the sting of spending nearly 2 million...
It also stands out more visually. The red and orange colors are quite striking. For those preferring a more understated look, options like green, earthy brown, or black are available.
- Way too expensive, this money could buy several different cases for each day of the week
- Not much variety in design, very basic
- Only available in 5 colors
- Colors fade quickly, especially with light shades. Requires careful maintenance to stay looking good
- So many counterfeits out there, nobody will even know you're using an expensive item when you take it out (for those who like to show off, haha)
