The Galaxy A70 promises to 'dominate' its Chinese competitors with an impressive hardware combination never seen before in Samsung's mid-range smartphones.
While waiting for the unique rotating camera system of the Galaxy A80, fans can now own the Galaxy A70 for $9.29 million. It's considered a worthwhile upgrade from the Galaxy A50 with beefier specs, improved camera, and a complimentary 25W charger faster than the Galaxy S10+.

The Galaxy A70 features a fullHD+ Infinity-U display, a high-quality SuperAMOLED panel, and a whopping 6.7-inch size. However, the device has been minimized almost entirely in terms of bezels, making it very compact and user-friendly to hold.

The device's Super AMOLED screen delivers vibrant and highly bright colors.
The device's design is similar to the Galaxy A50, featuring unique colors that change like a mesmerizing rainbow. Both the bezels and the back of the device are made of plastic, making it quite lightweight despite the hefty 4500mAh battery inside.

The bezels of the Galaxy A70 are much thinner than those of the Galaxy A50.

Even the bottom bezel is very minimal.

Compared to the Galaxy S10+ (below), the A70 only slightly lags behind in the side bezels.

The black and white color variants will have a back cover that changes color, which Samsung calls 3D Graffitistic.

The Galaxy A70 uses a USB-C charging port and retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy A70 is a rare smartphone nowadays that utilizes the Snapdragon 675 processor. This chip features an energy-efficient 11nm octa-core processor, a high-performance Adreno 612 GPU, promising excellent gaming experience at this price point. The version sold in Vietnam comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with expandable memory card slot. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI interface similar to its elder sibling, the Galaxy S10 series.

The benchmark score of the Galaxy A70 is highly impressive.
The main camera system of the Galaxy A70 comprises three components: a bright 32MP f/1.7 main sensor, a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor for portrait shots, and an 8MP sensor with a 12mm ultra-wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture. This combo is gaining popularity in recent Samsung smartphones, offering a more diverse photography experience.

The Galaxy A70 features 3 main cameras supporting portrait mode and ultra-wide-angle shots.

The device also boasts a new camera interface and intelligent Scene Optimizer feature.
The selfie camera of the Galaxy A70 gets a 'subtle' upgrade to 32MP resolution, f/2.0 aperture, and supports a host of intelligent beauty features. Thanks to the high resolution, the device can apply pixel binning algorithms in low-light conditions, increasing the size of each pixel to 1.6 microns to capture more light, resulting in more authentic and less noisy selfies.

The compact selfie camera within the display produces very good photo quality.
Alongside the camera and hardware specs, the two most anticipated features on the A70 are the in-display fingerprint sensor and 25W fast charging. Although it's an older optical type, the fingerprint unlock speed on the A70 is still quite good and easy to get used to. Meanwhile, the 25W charger included with the device allows for a full charge of the 4500mAh battery in just under 100 minutes, faster than the charging speed of the Galaxy S10+ despite having a smaller battery.

The Galaxy A70 uses the highly acclaimed OneUI interface, a commendable change by Samsung.

Of course, the in-display fingerprint sensor cannot be overlooked, supporting recognition even when the screen is off.
