Both the Ugreen 6 in 1 CM195 Hub and MSI 9 in 1 Hub have a listed price of $42.50. During Black Friday, the MSI 9 in 1 Hub dropped to just $4.75, and even SVIP members received an additional $0.95 discount, bringing it down to $4.28. This also means that many opted for the Ugreen 6 in 1 CM195 hub for only $4.75 or less.

Compared to the MSI 9 in 1 Hub, the Ugreen 6 in 1 Hub lacks 3 ports: RJ45 (Ethernet port), and separate audio and microphone ports. Overall, these three ports are currently in low demand. In reality, Ethernet ports are often already available, and for office use, WiFi comfortably suffices, so not many require a hub with RJ45. Separate audio and microphone ports are also surplus for most users. Perhaps that's why despite having fewer ports, the Ugreen 6 in 1 is better received.

Right from the packaging, the Ugreen 6 in 1 Hub is significantly more premium than the MSI hub. The product comes in a cardboard box with a plastic tray inside, rather than just being placed in a plastic bag like the MSI hub.

In terms of external finishing quality, the Ugreen 6 in 1 Hub is also sleeker and more seamless. Ugreen is also a well-known accessory brand, trusted by many in the mid-range price segment.

While the cable of the MSI hub is somewhat stiff, sometimes making me worry about damaging the USB-C port on my computer, the Ugreen hub is softer, giving me a more reassuring feeling when using it.

All ports of the Ugreen hub are placed on one side, with the two card readers conveniently positioned at the end of the hub, which is more practical than having too many ports on both sides.

The Ugreen 6 in 1 hub includes 6 connection ports:
- 2 x USB 3.0 (5Gbps)
- 1 x USB-C (supporting PD for laptop charging)
- 1 x HDMI (supporting 4K@30)
- 1 x SD Card Slot (~100MB/s)
- 1 x TF Card Slot

Overall, with the equipment provided by the hub, it is sufficient for most usage scenarios. Of course, with a mid-range hub like this, it won't be suitable if you want to output high-quality graphics. The HDMI port of the hub is most suitable for Full HD 60Hz or lower resolutions. If you are using a higher resolution or higher frequency monitor, you should use higher-end hubs or C to HDMI 2.0/C to DP 1.4 cables.

Regarding temperature, all hubs heat up when used continuously; this is unavoidable even with expensive hubs, so this is quite normal. Especially if used for display output, you should place the hub in a slightly ventilated position.

Testing the speed of the USB 3.0 port and card reader yields results quite similar to the advertised specifications, sufficient for common needs. If higher speed is required, it's advisable to use a Type-C cable directly plugged into the device rather than through a hub.
Measuring the SSD drive speed (installed in the box) via the USB 3.0 portIn conclusion, the Ugreen 6 in 1 hub is truly fantastic for those who have had the opportunity to own it for just $4.75, and even at the listed price of $42.50, it remains a good, versatile hub worth considering. Of course, the $4.75 price tag at the current time is difficult to come by; you can only wait for other sale events. Have any of you purchased this product yet?
