The overall design of the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 charging case features a rectangular shape. This year, Xiaomi has opted for a more angular design compared to the traditional oval shape, giving it a dynamic and youthful look.

In 2024, Xiaomi has embraced a minimalist design for the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5, with subtle design elements on the earphones. Specifically, the top cover features only a single glossy Redmi logo placed in the middle of the matte plastic layer, presenting a simple yet distinctive appearance.
On the bottom of the earphones, only a few product details are printed. However, what I appreciate is that both surfaces are matte-finished, making the earphones resistant to dirt even if they are in a white color.
As for the surrounding details, Xiaomi has positioned the charging port at the front instead of the back, a departure from other products. The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 is equipped with a commonly used Type-C charging port, allowing convenient charging anywhere.
On the right side of the case, there is an additional function button for resetting the earphones. I prefer this button over touch-based reset on the earphones as it is more convenient and quicker.
