Renowned as one of the 'Four Great Landmarks' within the unique primeval forest cluster of Tà Xùa National Special-Use Forest, Háng Tề Chơ Waterfall is celebrated for its majestic presence, serving as a beloved destination in Yen Bai.
Háng Tề Chơ Waterfall – A Majestic Rarity in Yen Bai

Yen Bai Province is home to many famous tourist attractions like Mù Cang Chải, Bà Waterfall… However, Tram Tau District also attracts tourists to enjoy the fresh air and highland scenery. Especially in this highland district lies an extremely beautiful waterfall dubbed the “number one waterfall in Northwest Vietnam,” that is Háng Tề Chơ Waterfall.

Háng Tề Chơ is the name of a Hmong village in Lang Nhi commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province, on the border between Yen Bai and Son La provinces. Háng Tề Chơ Waterfall leans against Tà Xùa forest, named after that village. Nestled deep within the mountains, the path to the waterfall is rugged and challenging, but it cannot deter the joy of exploration for many tourists.

To reach Háng Tề Chơ Waterfall, travelers need to prepare everything meticulously along with a determined spirit, ready to traverse through steep slopes, difficult rocky paths. Along the way, there are numerous boulders lying haphazardly, with one side facing a deep abyss and the other against a rocky cliff, danger always lurking.

Háng Tề Chơ Waterfall stands out amidst the lush green primeval forest, resembling a white thread flowing down from the mountain peak from afar. As you approach, you'll feel the mist on your face. The waterfall maintains its pristine, untouched beauty with moss-covered rocks scattered on both sides, prompting everyone to capture this extraordinary moment.

If you plan to explore, it's best to visit Háng Tề Chơ Waterfall during the dry season. At that time, the waterfall flows gently like a small thread with just the right amount of water. During the rainy season, the path to the waterfall becomes extremely slippery and dangerous, and the waterfall itself becomes much more intense.
