When collaborating on a document, relying solely on visual inspection to track changes can be challenging. This guide empowers you to monitor modifications effectively.

First Work Session, Collaborative Editing
Imagine receiving a document from a colleague eagerly awaiting your input.
Step 1: To begin, open the shared document and activate Tracks Changes by navigating to the Review tab -> Tracking -> select Track Changes:
Once Track Changes is activated, it will appear highlighted as shown in the illustration:

Step 2: After enabling Track Changes mode, users can freely edit the content. For instance, to delete a section within the shared document -> the content will not be deleted but instead highlighted in red with strikethrough text as depicted:

Simultaneously, the left margin automatically generates red underlines to mark edited sections. You can click on these marks to display or hide the edited text as desired, with your editing notes created on the right side of the document:

If you wish to add content, the entire added content will be highlighted in red and underlined:

When you adjust font style, font size, line spacing, etc., notes and the parameters you've adjusted will be displayed:

Additionally, if you prefer not to edit certain content but rather leave a note for the document owner to edit, select New Comment:

Input the content requiring edits for the document owner to address:

After completing your edits, save the document and send it to the next party for content confirmation.
Second working session, users can either accept or reject the edited content
Upon receiving the document edited by your colleague, open the document:

In cases where the document does not display the content edited by your colleague, navigate to the Review tab -> Tracking -> All mark:
The entire edited content by your colleague is displayed in detail along with corresponding notes. With your colleague's comments, you can choose to edit or leave them unchanged.

For the content edited by your colleague that you agree with, go to the Review tab -> Accept -> Accept This Change:

If you disagree, select Reject -> Reject Change:

Similarly, you confirm all the content edited by your colleague. After confirming all changes, the shared document is fully completed. Turn off Track Changes by selecting Review -> Tracking -> Track Changes:
Your document now only contains notes with a notification that does not include document edits -> select No Markup to remove the notes and obtain a complete document:

This allows you to use the document collaboratively without worrying about colleagues editing content you are unaware of. Wishing you all success!
