The latest trial version of the macOS operating system has surfaced approximately 2 weeks after Apple released the third beta of macOS Sonoma 14.2.
macOS Sonoma 14.2 beta 4 is now available.Currently, registered developers can choose to participate in the beta version through the
Software Updateof the application
System Settings. In the Beta update section, enable Sonoma Developer Beta. Note that you need an Apple ID linked to your Apple Developer account to download the beta.
Unfortunately, Apple hasn't shared what new features macOS Sonoma 14.2 beta 4 brings. In all likelihood, this update focuses on fixing lingering bugs and improving performance.
According to the previous three beta releases, macOS Sonoma 14.2 adds Apple Music Favorites playlist that contains all your favorites. Additionally, Apple has added support for collaborative playlists. Now, you can share playlists with multiple people, and each participant can add songs.
Moreover, stickers can now be used to reply to iMessages when you press and hold the chat bubble in the Messages app. There is also support for the highly secure iMessage Contact Key Verification option.
