Heaven's Cave – The Subterranean Paradise Concealed in Halong Bay is located in the southwest of Halong Bay, covering a fairly large area of about 10,000 square meters. The cave's interior structure is also quite diverse, comprising many levels, many chambers with countless unique limestone stalactites of various shapes, very splendid.
The cave is named 'Heaven's Cave' because it has a skylight that allows sunlight to shine in, these rays reflect off limestone stalactites creating a magical, sparkling light like in a royal banquet. Inside the cave, there is also a layer of phosphorescent powder on the cave's surface, these layers of phosphorescent powder contribute to the glittering, glamorous beauty of the cave.
Additionally, when visiting Heaven's Cave, you will hear a legend about a Dragon wedding here. Legend has it that in ancient times, the cave was the residence of the Dragon King. That year there was a drought, the villagers went to find the Dragon King for help but no one returned. However, there was a couple who were determined to find the king to help the villagers. After going through many hardships and difficulties, they finally found him. Later, the Dragon Prince fell in love with the daughter of that couple. This cave is the venue for their grand wedding ceremony lasting 7 days and 7 nights.
To reach the entrance of Heaven's Cave, you will climb along a steep rock wall covered by lush green trees. Contrary to the narrow image of the cave entrance, inside will be the image of a brightly lit cave that will amaze you.
The cave can be divided into 3 main chambers. Each chamber will have completely different paintings, with strange-shaped limestone stalactites that stimulate the imagination of visitors when visiting. The limestone stalactites hang down like luxurious sparkling chandeliers.
In Heaven's Cave, tourists often say that the central chamber is the most beautiful in the cave. Overall, each chamber has its own beauty that cannot be found elsewhere. Depending on your imagination, the limestone stalactites will be different images, different stories, full of allure.
