Method 1: Hide Apps on iPhone in a Folder
To hide apps on iPhone, the simplest method is to conceal them within a folder. Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Create a new folder on your iPhone by dragging an app onto another. A window will appear allowing you to name the folder.
Step 2: Give any name to your folder.
Step 3: Return to your home screen, locate, and long-press the app you want to hide.
Step 4: Now, a window will appear. Select Edit Home Screen.
Next, drag and drop the app into the newly created folder.
Step 5: Drag and drop the app onto another app to move it to the second page of the folder.
Note: You can create a maximum of 12 pages/folders, and each page must contain at least 1 app.
Method 2: Hide Apps from Search History
If you don't want others to find specific apps on your phone, you can set up to hide these apps from appearing in the search history.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the Settings app => Siri & Search .
Step 2: Scroll through the list of apps you've downloaded, find and select the app you want to hide.
Step 3: Turn off the options Learn from this App, Show in Search, and the option Show Siri Suggestions.
Perform similar steps for the apps you want to hide.
Method 3: Hide Apps from Purchase History
Additionally, if desired, you can hide apps from the purchase history on the app store.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the App Store, then on the window, find and select your profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Next, click on Purchased.
Step 3: Now, on the screen, a list of apps you have purchased will be displayed. Select any app you want to hide, swipe left, and choose Hide.
Note: This method only hides the app from the list of purchased apps.
