Despite global chip shortages, computer manufacturers have had a successful quarter, with laptop market sales increasing by 8% compared to the same period last year. Increased demand for products such as gaming laptops or promotional offers for premium products like MacBook Air has driven overall market sales upward.
MacBook, especially Macs running on M1 chips, is the key factor behind Apple's success.
