- Points for each test are rounded to 2 decimal places.

- Priority points range from a minimum of 0.5 points to a maximum of 1.5 points.

Changes in the Admission Methods to Grade 10 in Ho Chi Minh City

- Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education also adopts a method of not adding priority points for HSG exams, except for vocational exams. However, the maximum additional points should not exceed 3 points.

- Students can register three priority choices, and no changes are allowed after passing. The admission score is the total score of 3 subjects: Mathematics and Literature (multiplied by a factor of 2), Foreign Language (factor of 1), along with priority points.

- For students registering for specialized high school exams: Must graduate from middle school with an Excellent ranking and academic and behavioral evaluations from grades 6, 7, 8 of at least Good.
