The high-speed waterway route from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio, Vung Tau, and Ben Tre will cater to the Tet holiday and spring travel needs of the locals.
High-speed boat service from Saigon to Can Gio, Vung Tau, and Ben Tre before Tet
After the first river bus service in Ho Chi Minh City commenced operations, Greenlines DP announced the operation of a high-speed waterway passenger transport route from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio, Vung Tau, and Ben Tre. This contributes to serving the travel needs of the people and promoting tourism development.

The high-speed passenger transport route by twin-hull boats from Vung Tau to Ben Tre will start operating from January 28th with an estimated journey time of 135 minutes, priced at 290,000 VND for adults. The route from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio and Vung Tau will start operating from February 10th (25th of Tet) with an estimated journey time of 120 minutes, priced at 250,000 VND. During the first 3 days of the opening, passengers will receive promotions with a 50% discount on ticket prices.
The boat docks located in central positions: Bach Dang Wharf (Ho Chi Minh City), Tac Xuat Wharf (Can Gio), Hồ Mây Cable Car Wharf (Vung Tau), Rạch Miễu Ferry Terminal (Ben Tre)… are situated on major transportation axes, convenient for connecting with bus routes, taxis, etc., facilitating passengers to reach their desired destinations.
The Greenlines DP fleet serving these routes comprises 8 vessels: 3 C50 boats (C3, C4, C5), 2 K96 boats (K6, K7), 1 C132 boat, and 2 Rib boats, with a capacity of 50 to 132 passengers.

On board, passengers enjoy various amenities: large-capacity air conditioning, luxurious interior, clean restrooms, high-speed wifi, 55-inch TV, 26 power outlets, and a bar counter serving a variety of light beverages upon request. All passengers are provided with complimentary cold towels, drinks, and newspapers.
With the slogan 'Your safety is our priority', the vessel is equipped with a direct connection camera system to the company's operational management system, radar positioning system for the crew to observe obstacles, fire prevention and fighting system, and life-saving equipment. To mark the launch of the high-speed waterway route from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio, Vung Tau, and Ben Tre, Greenlines DP shares plans to build an additional 10 twin-hull aluminum C-300 high-speed vessels and 2 aluminum hull K-300 high-speed vessels, each capable of carrying 300 passengers, to operate routes: Ha Tien/ Rach Gia - Phu Quoc, Phan Thiet - Phu Quy, Quang Ngai - Ly Son, and Ho Chi Minh City - Vung Tau - Con Dao.
