Introduction to Ho Chi Minh Museum, Hanoi
After President Ho Chi Minh passed away in 1969, following the wishes of the Party and the people of Vietnam at that time, the Politburo and the Central Committee decided to build the Mausoleum and the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
In 1970, the responsibility for building Ho Chi Minh Museum was assigned, actively collecting and exhibiting documents and artifacts related to President Ho Chi Minh.
By 1977, the Politburo passed a resolution to establish the Ho Chi Minh Museum Institute, becoming the center for researching materials, artifacts, and historical sites related to the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh.
In 1985, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Ho Chi Minh Museum was held, with the desire to complete it on the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.
As expected, on May 19, 1990, the Inauguration Ceremony of Ho Chi Minh Museum was solemnly held at the location where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence.
