The legend of Hoang Hau Beach
Legend has it that since ancient times, this place has been a gathering spot, a merry meeting place for fairies. Hence, it possesses an enchanting fairy-like beauty that captivates all. Some even tell tales of an ancient village where a young couple deeply in love but constantly hindered by their families. United in their love, they pledged to be together for eternity. Unable to deter their love, the girl's family set a condition for the boy to collect 100 swiftlet nests within 3 months as a betrothal gift. Driven by love, the boy set off to find the nests while the girl waited eagerly at home. On the appointed day, laden with gifts, the boy failed to return, leaving the girl in tears as she rushed out to find her beloved.

As she ran to Hoang Hau Beach, thunder and lightning suddenly burst forth from the crack in the mountain due to her exhaustion, she entered it and gradually vanished. After collecting the betrothal gift, the boy hurried back to find his beloved. Exhausted after days at sea, the boy awoke to find himself washed ashore at Hoang Hau Beach near Gheng Rang. Here, he saw the silhouette of his love fleeting in the mist. They clasped hands and disappeared together. From the crack in the mountain, a stream emerged, known as Fairy Stream. Since then, the mountains, rivers, and shores near Gheng Rang always seem to reveal the beauty of that couple. Hence, Hoang Hau Beach is also known as the beach of love.
