The ancient town of Hội An once again secures its spot in the top 10 leading destinations in Asia, ranking 2nd only to Japan's historic Kyoto.
Condé Nast Traveler has revealed the awards from the 2013 reader's choice, featuring several representatives from Vietnam. Hội An's ancient town continues to be among the top 10 premier destinations in Asia, securing the 2nd position, just behind Japan's Kyoto. According to the 2012 voting results, Hội An held the 8th position.

The Nam Hải Resort claims the 10th spot and is the sole representative of Vietnam in the top resorts in Asia for 2013. Last year, Nam Hải was positioned 14th, and Life Heritage Resort Hội An secured the 10th spot among the top 15 resorts in Asia.
In another category, 4 hotels in Vietnam make it to the top 25 premier resorts in the Southeast Asia region, including Sofitel Metropoles Hanoi, Park Hyatt Saigon, Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, and Sofitel Saigon Plaza. In the previous year's voting, Vietnam had 3 representatives, namely Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Park Hyatt Saigon, and Sheraton Saigon.

Condé Nast Traveler magazine organizes an annual online voting competition by readers, featuring various categories for awards honoring cities, resorts, and hotels meeting global standards. This annual award attracts significant attention from readers. This year's survey results are based on the votes of nearly 80,000 readers, whereas last year saw just over 46,000 votes.
