One rock with the giant's handprint rolled down to Hon Chong, while another rock with his footprint remained in the Suoi Tien area of Dien Khanh. Therefore, the rock with the handprint is considered the mark of the romantic giant, and the beach of the fairies is called Fairy Beach, located very close to Hon Chong.
According to another legend, there were a poor fisherman and his wife living by the sea, earning a living with their fishing nets. Misfortune struck when one day, big waves and strong winds caused their fishing boat to sink completely, and the wife was swept far away by the waves. The husband quickly grabbed his wife, with one hand tightly holding onto a rock on the shore. However, their efforts to escape were unrewarded, and the couple forever lies beyond the open sea. Perhaps, this story also explains the appearance of a small group of rocks, lower in height, not far away, called Wife Rock.
