Located off the coast of Nghệ An province, just 4 km from Cửa Lò Beach, Hòn Ngư consists of two islets: a larger one standing at 133 meters and a smaller one at 88 meters above sea level. Due to their close proximity, locals often refer to them as the Twin Fish Islands. Transportation to the islands can be arranged via boat or canoe, with prices ranging around 180,000 VND per person, departing from either the Lan Châu port or Cửa Lò Beach.

A special feature within the temple courtyard is the Jade Well (or Divine Well), the only spot on the island with fresh water that never runs dry.
