Bus

On February 3, 2016, Dat Moi Joint Stock Company launched bus route number 18 to transport passengers by bus from Cam Ranh Airport to Nha Trang and vice versa. Each day, the bus can transport about 48 trips of passengers, including round trips, carrying about 30 passengers per trip. It takes 1 hour to travel by bus route number 18 to Nha Trang. Operating hours are from 5:30 am to 21:50 pm.

Ticket prices are as follows:

From 0 to 10km: 10,000 VND/way; from 10 to 20km: 20,000 VND/way; from 20 to 30km: 30,000 VND/way; entire route: 50,000 VND/way. The monthly ticket price for the entire route is 600,000 VND/month. At this fare, it may be lower than taking a taxi but quite time-consuming and waiting for the route as well as taking up to 1 hour to travel.

The route of bus route 18 is as follows:

19-8 Stadium Gate (Yersin Street, Nha Trang) – Tran Hung Dao Street – Hung Vuong Street – Tran Quang Khai Street – Tran Phu Street – Hoang Dieu Street – Nguyen Duc Canh Street – Nguyen Tat Thanh Street – Cam Ranh Airport and vice versa.

Cam Ranh Airport Bus to Nha Trang

Cam Ranh Airport bus or airline bus is the transportation service from Cam Ranh Airport to Nha Trang city, usually a 16-seat Ford Transit with air conditioning.

Airport buses usually depart every 30 minutes after the plane lands or when the bus is full, with a relatively cheap ticket price of about 65,000 VND per trip.

Phuong Trang Bus

Secondly, you can buy tickets to rent a high-speed boat to the island, sounds more exciting, doesn't it? After arriving at Cam Ranh City Airport and moving to Nha Trang City center, you will book a room and rent a boat. There are about 20 trips per day, each way, with 25 passengers per trip, taking about 20 minutes. If you get seasick, remember to prepare an anti-seasickness pill and take it 30 minutes before.

In case you rent a hotel, they often include the service of taking tourists to the island by high-speed boat along with some free entertainment activities. The high-speed boat stops operating at 10:00 pm, but you can still rent it after hours if needed.
