Every game is prone to encountering glitches, ranging from basic to severe, as gamers immerse themselves in the experience. This holds true for the hit title Honkai: Star Rail from the publisher HoYoverse.
Recently, Honkai: Star Rail players have been intrigued by a rather ridiculous yet somewhat amusing bug related to the character, Hook. This is the case of Reddit user Username69221, who shared a clip of Honkai: Star Rail, encountering a bug that prevents Hook from attacking the Frosty Roamer enemy.

A 20-second video clip shows this gamer attempting to attack enemies with Hook's Haiz! See This Balloon Mass! technique, only to fail repeatedly and jesting that it's... too chubby, hence Hook can't land a hit. Meanwhile, Mytour suggests it's due to Hook's short arm. This issue could easily be resolved by switching to a character with longer arms like Seele.

Many comments express fascination when looking at this peculiar bug and think it's not too uncommon. However, in their gaming journey, this glitch is indeed real and sometimes even affects larger foes like Svarog, although it's not frequent.

According to the explanation from the Reddit post owner, the bug occurs when the character (here, Hook) has a too-small hitbox, causing the push technique to not activate the combat with a target possessing a large hitbox like the Frosty Roamer or Svarog. It's also possible the game has coded the character to 'evade sight' hence not registering attacks. Even 'loli' characters can evade enemy detection when hiding behind an object.
Therefore, when Honkai: Star Rail gamers switch to larger characters with bigger hitboxes like Seele, the character can 'see' and players can engage in a life-and-death battle with enemies as usual.
