Honor has officially confirmed an unveiling event on November 23 in China, where they will introduce several new products, such as Magic UI 7.0, the Honor 80 series, and the foldable Honor Magic Vs. According to the latest updates on Weibo, leaker Digital Chat Station shared insights about a mysterious Honor phone with a 160MP camera, slated to debut concurrently. This could very well be the much-anticipated device.
Leaked details suggest that one of Honor's upcoming devices will sport a dual 50MP front camera setup. Notably, the rear camera module will boast a primary 160MP sensor.
In the comment section of the article, the leaker hinted that this might be a customized version of the 200MP camera utilized in recent Android smartphones.
Furthermore, it's revealed that the Honor 80 will employ the Dimensity 1080 chipset and a 64MP primary camera, while the Honor 80 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 778G chipset and a 108MP main camera.
Regarding the high-end duo Honor 80 Pro+ and Magic Vs with foldable design, they are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Honor 80 Pro+ is anticipated to support fast charging at 100W, while Magic Vs, Honor 80, and Honor 80 Pro are capable of providing 66W fast charging.
Previously, there were numerous rumors suggesting that Magic Vs is the Magic V2. However, it appears that Honor will reserve the official announcement for Magic V2 with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip for next year.
