Later, inspired by the indomitable spirit of communist fighters, of the people during and after the Southern Uprising, Comrade Phat shifted to revolutionary activities, serving as the head of the Youth Weekly newspaper, actively participating in the national language propagation movement, and famine relief efforts in North Vietnam. In March 1945, he was admitted to the Party and assigned to work in the Vanguard Youth movement led by the Southern Provincial Party Committee.
