I've observed that the Google Chrome browser on my computer automatically updates whenever there's a new version, which I don't desire. So, how can I disable this automatic update feature? I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. Thanks a lot.

To disable the automatic update feature to the latest version of Google Chrome, you just need to navigate to the installation folder of Google Chrome and delete the GoogleUpdate file. Follow these steps:
Step 1: You can access the following path (on Win 64): C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Update
Step 2: Locate and delete the GoogleUpdate.exe file.
Now, restart Chrome to check the outcome. Go to Customize, choose About Google Chrome.
The auto-update function on Google has been disabled.
