Here are some suggestions for traveling from Lào Cai station to the center of Sapa town.
If you choose to travel to Sapa by train, note that all train services will stop at Lào Cai. The distance from Lào Cai to the town center of Sapa is approximately 30km. Therefore, upon arriving at the station, you can take a shuttle bus, a public bus, or a taxi to Sapa. - Taxi: Prices start from 350,000 VND for a 4-seater car. - Shuttle bus: Prices range from 50,000 to 60,000 VND per passenger. - Public bus: Walk a short distance to the main road, reach the Lào Cai - Sapa bus stop (either at Lào Cai bus station or Phố Mới station), and wait for the bus (departures every 15 minutes). Ticket fare: 10,000 VND per passenger per trip.
