Battery Saver not only displays remaining battery capacity but also highlights the most energy-consuming applications.
To activate battery-saving mode, navigate to Settings > Battery Saver > toggle the switch to On. Below are the available modes:
- When battery is low - activates when the battery is weak
- Now until next charge - activates immediately and deactivates upon charging
- Always (limits functionality) - remains active but restricts certain system functions, such as notifications, email updates, and social networks.
It's best to enable battery-saving mode when the battery is low to extend device usage without compromising other functions.
In the Usage section (swipe right), you'll find a list of apps and their energy consumption rates. These apps are also permitted to run in the background, so you can disable background activity for any app by tapping on it and toggling the switch to Off. Since this update, the Background Tasks settings in Applications have been removed. Now, to enable or disable an app's background activity, you need to go to Battery Saver > Usage.
