Currently, there are a total of 10 types of pets (companions, animals) in the Among Us game, including Squiq, Bedcrab, Brainslug, UFO, Dog, Hamster, Mini Crewmate, Robot, Henry, and Ellie. Each pet type has a completely different status and appearance.
How to Obtain Pets in Among Us - Your Companion in Every Game
Pets in Among Us follow their players around the map. If their owner is killed by the Impostor, the pet stays at the player's death location, crying. The pets also display fear when a player is killed, adding more dramatic tension to the game.
How to Acquire Pets in Among Us, Game Companions
Unfortunately, there's no way to get a free pet in the game. You'll need to purchase the pet of your choice from the in-game store. All pet packs are priced at $2.99 USD on all PC or Mobile platforms.
Step 1: Join a Public or Private lobby. (It's recommended to use a Private lobby so you can comfortably shop in Among Us without rushing for a match.)
Step 2: Once you're in the lobby, go to the laptop and click Customize.
Step 3: Select the Pet tab; you'll notice there are no pets in your inventory.
Step 4: Click on the small dollar sign ($) next to your character; you'll see various pets available for purchase, all priced at $2.99 USD (70K VND). Choose your preferred pet and proceed with your payment method.
Step 5: After a successful purchase, repeat a similar process, and you'll find your pet appearing in your inventory, ready for adventures with you.
Currently, there are no tricks or cheats to get free Pets in Among Us. It's possible that in the future, the developers may introduce events or enticing offers for you to own these incredibly adorable companions.
