How to Obtain the Pathfinder Heirloom Set for Free in Apex Legends
Like other Heirloom sets, Pathfinder's set includes 3 items: Banner Pose, Melee Weapon, and Kill Quip. Currently, everyone can unlock it, but to do so, you first need to have all 24 cosmetic items designed and released exclusively for this event.
Once you have all 24 items in your inventory, the Pathfinder Heirloom set in Apex Legends will be automatically granted to you. This set is entirely free and doesn't require direct payment to obtain. And of course, there are 3 ways for you to own this skin set.
1. Event Apex Packs.
If you're looking to quickly acquire the Pathfinder Heirloom set in Apex Legends, opening Event Apex Packs is the fastest option, but it requires spending money. Each Event Apex Pack guarantees at least one event item, and opening 24 Packs will provide you with all 24 necessary items to unlock and receive the Pathfinder Heirloom set for free.
- With Apex Packs priced at 700 Apex Coins => 24 Packs = 16,800 Coins, equivalent to about $160 (valued at 3.7 million VND).
2. Direct Purchase.
In reality, all 24 event items can be directly purchased, although this method is twice as expensive as opening Event Apex Packs. The idea here is to buy all event cosmetic items from the store, 12 of which are Legendary (1,800 Apex Coins) and 12 are Epic (1,000 Apex Coins), you'll need to spend 33,600 Apex Coins (about $300) to own the Pathfinder Heirloom set in Apex Legends.
This method seems impractical as you can only use those Coins to purchase event packs, which not only help you obtain event items but also give you the chance to receive a range of items not on the event list.
3. Crafting.
In this scenario, Crafting offers another avenue for you to potentially obtain the Pathfinder Heirloom set in Apex Legends for free, except it involves spending Metals instead of Apex Coins. Each Legendary item requires 2,400 Metals to craft while Epics only cost 800.
Altogether, crafting all 24 items will consume 38,400 Metals, which is certainly a significant amount but worthwhile when combined with Apex Packs if you have plenty of Metals in your inventory or character's loot box.
Remember that all methods to receive the Pathfinder Heirloom set for free only appear during the Holo-Day Bash Event. When the event ends on January 7, 2020, the only way to own the Pathfinder heirloom set is by luck when opening regular Apex Packs. So what are you waiting for?
