How to Activate Firefox Extensions in Private Browsing Mode

By default, in private browsing mode, all Firefox extensions are disabled. However, you can easily customize to enable them.

Step 1: On the main screen of the Firefox browser, select Settings and choose Add-ons (shortcut Ctrl + Shift + A).

Step 2:

Once the Firefox add-on management window appears, select the Options (1) of the extension you want to enable in private browsing (Anonymous Tab) and choose Manage (2).

Step 3: In the Add-on Manager window, scroll down to the bottom to find the “Run in Private Windows” option.

Next, simply select Allow to enable the application to run in private windows.

If you want to use multiple extensions in private browsing mode, anonymous tabs, just repeat the same steps.

Step 4: After enabling the use of extensions in private browsing mode, you'll see the extension icon appear on the toolbar.

When enabling extensions in private browsing mode, Firefox maintains security by not storing web browsing history and ensuring no impact on user experience.
