Switching your Android device's display language to Arabic is a breeze with the Settings app.
Quick Steps for Installing Arabic
1. Access Settings > Language & input.
2. Tap on Language located at the top of the screen.
3. Choose Arabic from the list, typically found at the bottom.
4. Return to the Language & input menu and select your preferred keyboard option.
5. Opt for Arabic to enable it as your typing language.
6. Tap the globe icon on your keyboard to switch to the Arabic keyboard layout.
Installation Steps
How to Change the Display Language
Open the Settings app. You can locate it in your app drawer, accessible by tapping the grid button at the bottom of the Home screen. The Settings app icon resembles a gear.
Access the 'Language & input' section. This option is situated as the fourth one in the Personal settings group.
Select the 'Language' setting. It's positioned at the top of the 'Language & input' menu.
Choose Arabic from the available languages. Look for it at the bottom of the list, where it's labeled in Arabic (العَرَبِيَّة).
- Upon selecting Arabic, your phone's interface will instantly switch, and text will be displayed from right to left.
Changing the Keyboard Language
Open the Settings app. Modify your keyboard settings to enable easy access to Arabic characters. Locate the Settings app in your app drawer.
Access the 'Language & input' section. This will present you with your language preferences.
Select your primary keyboard. If you have multiple keyboards installed, choose the one you use most frequently. The process for changing the language may vary slightly depending on the keyboard.
Choose 'Languages' or 'Select languages.' This action will bring up a list of available languages for your keyboard.
Select the checkbox next to 'Arabic.' You may also find a Moroccan variant if necessary.
- If Arabic isn't listed, you can install a different keyboard. The Google Keyboard, available for free on the Google Play Store, includes Arabic support.
Choose an app where you can type. After activating Arabic, select it as your input language. Open any typing-enabled app to switch between languages.
Tap the Globe icon to change languages. Each tap on the globe switches to a different installed language. The active language will be displayed on the Space bar.

Adjusting the Language for 'OK, Google'
Open the Google app. Modify the language settings for the 'OK, Google' service to recognize and speak Arabic. Access these options within the Google app on your device.
Press the Menu button (☰). Locate this at the top-left corner of the Google app interface. Alternatively, swipe in from the left side of the screen.
Select 'Settings' from the Google app menu. This action will open the settings menu within the Google app.
Choose 'Voice.' This will navigate you to the voice settings specifically for OK, Google.
Tap on 'Languages.' You'll notice this option positioned at the topmost section of the Voice settings menu.
Scroll down to locate the Arabic language choices. You'll be presented with various Arabic voice options to select from.
Tick the box next to the preferred voice. This voice will be used for reading out your 'OK, Google' responses and will allow you to utilize 'OK, Google' in Arabic.
