Adding captions to photos or videos will organize your media, making it easy to search for them later using keywords. Additionally, the Photos app will automatically group similar captions.
How to Add Captions to Photos/Videos in iOS
Note: The caption feature is only available in iOS 14. This feature will not work if your device is running an older version of iOS.
- Open the Photos app on your iPhone, select the photo you want to add a caption to.
- Tap and hold the photo, then swipe up from the bottom, you'll see the option to 'Add Caption' appear.

- Enter a word or all words in your caption. The search will display matching photos, videos. If you have multiple photos on the same topic, they will all be grouped together.

- More specifically, scroll down to the bottom of the search page and you'll see the 'Caption' section here, click on the caption to view all photos and videos.

Share photos with the same caption

- Tap the Share button at the bottom left to access the Share menu.

- Select “Options” at the top.
