Adding music to your Instagram Story can make them much more interesting and engaging than just a static image. Adding music to your Instagram Story is incredibly simple and anyone can do it.
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your phone.
Step 2: Then, switch to Story mode and capture/select a photo on your phone to upload.
To access the options, swipe up from the bottom of the screen after selecting the image you want to upload to Story.
Step 3: In the options menu, select Music to add music to your Story.
Step 4: Typically, Instagram will have a separate music category for you to choose from, and if you want to search for your own music, simply click on the Search option.
If you're not sure about the song you've chosen, press the Play button to listen to it, and when you're sure, click on the song name to select it.
So, you've chosen a song for your Story, now let's refine it to make it perfect.
Step 5: First, you'll have display modes including: Lyrics, Information (song name + artist),... Each display mode will have a different interface, so choose according to your needs.
After selecting the display mode, click on the Color (2) section to change the color of the entire music display.
Step 6: By default, Instagram will select the best, most prominent part of the song, and if you don't like it, simply drag the music selection slider to the very end.
The Timeline bar above will show you which part of the song you're selecting.
Step 7: If you want to change to a different song, simply select Sound and choose a new song as needed.
Step 8: To make the song information look better, move them with one finger and adjust the size, rotate with two fingers.
Finally, select Your Story to upload them to your Story on Instagram.
Step 9: Congratulations! You've successfully inserted music into your Instagram Story.
