Only France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain accept tourist visas (travel visas) for travelers with Vietnamese nationality.

Most countries in the Schengen area do not grant free tourist visas to Vietnamese citizens and require an invitation letter from a sponsor, except for France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain. Therefore, if you want to apply for a tourist visa to Europe, you can visit the Embassy or visa reception center of one of these four countries in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Note that when completing paperwork, if you submit a visa application at the Embassy of a certain country, that country must be the first destination or the longest-stay destination in the Schengen area.
