Feeling annoyed by incessant calls or messages from certain phone numbers? Wondering how to block them on your Android device? Today, TechTipsSoftware.com provides a guide on blocking phone numbers and calls on Android.

Method 1: Directly Block Numbers from Contacts
Step 1: Access your Contacts, Find and select the contact you want to block.
In the example below, I illustrate the process of blocking contact from KT Lan Anh.

Step 2: Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. Select “Block”.

Step 3: Then a confirmation box appears. Press OK to confirm.

Additionally, to Unblock follow the same steps, then select Unblock.

Method 2: Block numbers in the Settings section.
Note: This method can help you block multiple phone numbers at once. However, since Android supports a wide range of devices, the items displayed in the Settings section may vary from the instructions.
Step 1: Go to the Settings on your phone → Select System apps (1) → Then choose Call settings (2).

Step 2: Select Blocked numbers (3) → Then choose Blocked numbers list (4).

Step 3: Select Add (5)
(6) Here you can choose to Add a contact if the person you want to block is already in your contacts. Or Add a phone number if the number you want to block is unknown.

Step 4: In this example, I demonstrate blocking calls from a number already in the Contacts.
Here, you mark the contacts you want to block. You can block multiple numbers at once. After selecting, press the checkmark icon in the top right corner of the screen (7)
You can customize your options to Block SMS, Block calls, or Block both SMS and calls by ticking the corresponding boxes. Then select OK.

And there you have it! Blocking calls on Android is that simple. Wishing you successful implementation. Thank you for following along with Mytour!
