Besides Grab, you can now use the DiDi app to book rides for your travels. Currently, DiDi is available in three major cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. Booking a Ride Using the DiDi App
- Download DIDI for Android: Get DIDI for Android
- Download DIDI for iPhone: Get DIDI for iPhone
Step 1: After downloading DIDI on your phone, launch the app. It will ask for access to your current location. Grant permission, then select Allow and proceed to Enter your mobile number to register for an account.
Step 2: Enter your phone number in the provided field and select the arrow button. A confirmation code will be sent to your phone; wait a few minutes for it to arrive.
Step 3: Enter the confirmation code and select the arrow button to proceed. Then, provide your personal information, email, and create a password.
Step 4: Once you've completed the steps, you'll be taken to the main interface to book a ride. Allow the DiDi app to manage voice calls. If you've been referred by a friend, enter their referral code to both receive benefits. Otherwise, select Skip.
Step 5: On the booking interface, you can Choose a vehicle. DiDi offers three types of transportation: DiDi Moto (motorcycles), DiDi Car (small cars), and DiDi Plus (premium vehicles).
Step 6: You can also add your home address for convenience in commuting.
Step 7: Select your destination by tapping on Where to and choosing your desired location.
Step 8: After selecting your vehicle and destination, the system will proceed to find a driver for you.
