1. How to Change TikTok Profile Picture on Android and iOS Devices

Changing your TikTok profile picture is not difficult at all. Just follow the instructions once and you can easily change the image.

Requirements:
- Have a photo ready to replace or take a photo beforehand to get the desired TikTok profile picture.

Procedure:

There are 2 ways to change your TikTok profile picture:

Method 1: Add a new profile picture

Step 1

: Open the TikTok app, look at the bottom right corner, click on 'Me' (Figure 1), then click on the person icon (Figure 2).

Step 2: Click on the pen icon (Figure 3) and then click 'Allow' to access photos in your photo library if prompted by TikTok 'Allow TikTok to access photos, media, and files on your device' (Figure 4).

Step 3: Choose the photo you want to use as your TikTok profile picture, then click 'Confirm' at the bottom right corner (Figure 5). Click on the selected frame to adjust the picture to your liking (Figure 6).

Step 4: If you're satisfied, click 'Save' to use that photo as your profile picture. If you want to change the picture again, click 'Cancel' to return to step 3 (Figure 7). Then, click 'Cancel' (Figure 8) to return to your profile page.

Method 2: Changing Profile Picture on TikTok

Step 1: Open TikTok, at the bottom right corner, click on 'Me' (Figure 1). In your profile page, click on 'Edit Profile' (Figure 2).

Step 2: Click on 'Change Photo' (Figure 3), then click on 'Choose from Library' to replace your photo if you already have one (Figure 4), or you can click on 'Take Photo' to capture a new one.

Step 3: Choose a photo and click 'Confirm' (Figure 5). Then, click on the image to adjust, and finally click 'Save' to change your profile picture (Figure 6).

2. Setting a Video as Your TikTok Profile Picture

Apart from changing your TikTok profile picture, you can also use a video as your TikTok profile video. Here are the steps to do so:

- Have registered and logged in to TikTok.

How to Proceed:

Step 1: On your phone interface, open TikTok, at the bottom right corner, click on 'Me' (Figure 1). Then, click on 'Edit Profile' (Figure 2).

Step 2: In the profile editing page, click on 'Change Video' (Figure 3). Then, select the video you want to set as your avatar (Figure 4).

Step 3: At the bottom of the interface, click to trim the video then look at the top right corner, click 'Save' (Figure 5). Displayed as in Figure 6 means you've successfully changed the avatar video.
