Due to its low price, the TL-WR720N modem is widely used by many households. In fact, network providers like Viettel and VNPT still provide modems to customers when installing networks. However, most of them do not provide the TL-WR720N series. In the guide for changing Viettel Wi-Fi passwords, the most common ones are models like TP-Link TLWR740N, TP-Link TLWR741N ... Therefore, not every method for changing Viettel Wi-Fi passwords can be applied to TL-WR720N. For older modem versions like TL-WR720N, specific instructions are needed to change TL-WR720N Wi-Fi passwords.
How to Change TL-WR720N Wi-Fi Password, Reset TP-Link TL-WR720N Wi-Fi Password
Step 1: Enter the address: 192.168.1.1 in the URL bar of any browser to access TL-WR720N Wi-Fi.
Next, enter the Username and Password to access TL-WR720N Wi-Fi.
Usually, the username and password are:
User: admin
Password: admin
After that, press Login to log in and proceed to change the TL-WR720N Wi-Fi password.
In the TL-WR720N Wi-Fi interface, click on Wireless. This is where you can edit Wi-Fi settings.
Step 2: Continue to Wireless Security to access the Security section for Wi-Fi adjustments.
Step 3: Similar to other TP-Link modems, here you'll find the PSK Password line. Delete the old password and enter a new password here. Finally, press Save to save the editing operation.
Step 4: Next, you must proceed to Reboot the Modem by accessing System Tools. Select Reboot to restart the TL-WR720N modem.
Press Reboot again and wait for the Modem to restart within a few minutes.
After successfully changing the TL-WR720N Wi-Fi password, try reconnecting to Wi-Fi. At this point, you need to enter the new password to access your Wi-Fi network.
