How to Change Word, Excel, Powerpoint 2016 to Vietnamese
- Download Office 2016 for Windows: Office 2016
- Download Office 2016 for Mac: Office 2016 for Mac
After installing Office 2016, Vietnamese language support is not available by default. However, installing Vietnamese language for Office 2016 is not too difficult. If you have already installed Office 2016, refer to the steps below to install Vietnamese language for Office 2016.

- This article is performed on Word, but you can perform similar steps on Excel, Powerpoint, or other applications to install Vietnamese language for Office 2016.
Step 1: Open Word 2016, Excel, or PowePoint => Choose File
Step 2: Select Options
Step 3: Choose Language
Step 4: Click on Not installed
Then, you will be directed to the Download Vietnamese font page for Office 2016 => Find and click Download to download Vietnamese font for Office 2016. (If you want to install another language, choose that language and proceed similarly)
Step 5: Run the downloaded file => select Continue
Please wait a few seconds...
Office 2016 will reinstall the language within a short period of time. Make sure your internet connection is stable.
Finally, select Close to finish installing the Vietnamese language for Office 2016
Step 6: Open a new Word file and follow Step 1 and Step 2, Step 3 => Choose Vietnamese language in all 3 boxes as shown in the image below (Note the positions must be at the top, click on the arrow next to move up or down) => Select OK
Select OK to Restart Word 2016
Now reopen Word and you will have the Vietnamese interface.
