Requirements:
Have the ISP's management app installed on your phone:
- My Viettel app
- Hi FPT app
1. Changing Wifi password via My Viettel app
Step 1: Open the My Viettel app. On the Login screen, select Internet/TV/PSTN tab. Enter your details including:
- Account/Contact phone number: Your account number or the phone number used for internet registration.
Step 2: After successful login, go to the Home Page using the function button at the bottom of the screen. Then, navigate to the Utilities section and click on Wifi Modem Management.
Step 3: In the Wifi Modem Management screen, Viettel offers several functions like: Reading modem information, Restarting Wifi, Changing password, Turning off Wifi, etc. Now, click on the Change password button and enter the required information to change your Wifi password directly on your phone, without accessing the Router.
2. Changing Wifi password through Hi FPT app
Step 1: Launch the Hi FPT app. On the login screen, enter the following information:
- Username: Phone number used for internet subscription
- Password: OTP code sent by FPT via SMS
Step 2: After logging in successfully, in the Modem tab, press the Manage button.
Step 3: On the Modem management screen, FPT displays all information about your modem, including type, status, speed, data usage, and other support functions. Click the Change Password button at the bottom of the screen and follow the system's instructions to update your information.
