Ping network is a quite common method for users to quickly and accurately check internet speed, which almost all IT professionals or enthusiasts use. With this method, users do not need to install any additional software or access any specific website. In cases of slow network speed, trying to access websites to check the speed might be frustrating because it could take a long time. Therefore, the best way is to Ping to assess network speed.
Step 1: Press the shortcut keys Windows + R
Step 2: In the Open field -> type cmd -> press Enter
Step 3: Perform a Ping to the address you want to check.
- If Pinging a website, type the command: Ping -> space -> website to Ping. Example: ping Mytour
- If Pinging an IP address: Type Ping -> space -> IP address:
+ Fpt Network: Type ping 210.245.31.130
+ Viettel Network: Type ping 203.113.131.1
+ VNPT Network: Type ping 203.162.4.190
Note: You need to directly type the commands above, copying and pasting won't work on the CMD screen.
Below is the result of Pinging the website Mytour -> the response will be displayed as shown in the image below, with a good server response, averaging 5ms.
