1. How to Connect Phone Wifi to AirDresser/ Smart Samsung Clothes Care Cabinet via SmartThings

Follow these steps:
Step 1. Connect Wifi for Phone
On your smartphone, go to Settings, turn on wireless connection, and choose an AP to connect wifi for your phone.
The recommended encryption methods are WPA/TKIP and WPA2/AES.
Step 2. Install SmartThing app on your phone
On the app store (Google Play Store, Apple Store, Samsung Galaxy Apps), search for SmartThings app with the keyword “SmartThings”. Download and install the app on your mobile device.
Note:
The SmartThings app may not be compatible with some tablets or smartphones
The recommended Android operating system is 6.0 or higher (with a minimum of 2 GB RAM)
Supported screen resolutions for Android are 1280 x 720 (HD), 1920 X 1080 (FHD), 2560 x 1440 (WQHD)
iOS is recommended to be 10.0 or higher (iPhone should be iPhone 6 or higher)
Supported screen resolutions for Apple devices are 1334 X 750, 1920 x 1080
App changes may occur without notification for performance improvement
For enhanced performance, this app may undergo changes without notification
Step 3. Log in to the SmartThings app
Tap the SmartThings logo to open the app:
Select Start to grant permissions for the SmartThings app: select ALLOW to grant permissions for the app: Grant location access, enable Bluetooth for the app.
Continue to select Start, the app prompts you to log in to SmartThings with your Samsung account. If you have a Samsung account, use it to log in. Samsung smartphones registered will automatically log in.
Note:
If you haven't got a Samsung account yet, to create a new one, select CREATE ACCOUNT and follow the instructions on the app or visit the link: https://account.samsung.com
Step 4. Registering the Device with SmartThings
1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a wireless network. If not, go to Settings, enable wireless connection, then select AP (Access Point).
2. Open SmartThings on your smartphone.
3. If you see the message “A new device is found.”, select Add.
4. If there's no notification, follow these steps:
On your phone:
In the app interface, tap the plus (+) icon in the top right corner of the screen, then select Device.
Select Device
=> choose AirDresser
=> select the Samsung icon
Next, choose AirDresser. Under Supported Devices: choose your AirDresser (Smart Care Clothes Dryer DF60R8600CG/SV) from the list of available devices.
Note: If your AirDresser is not listed, select Device Type > Specific Device Model, then manually add AirDresser (Smart Care Clothes Dryer DF60R8600CG/SV).
After selecting your AirDresser, your phone will display instructions as shown below.
When you select Start, the app will prompt you to choose a location and room for your AirDresser. Then, your phone will display instructions: “Turn on the AirDresser, then press and hold the SMART CONTROL button for more than 3 seconds until AP appears”
After plugging in the power, press the power button to turn on the AirDresser; On the AirDresser control panel, press and hold the Smart Control button (phone connection icon) for more than 3 seconds until AP appears.
At this point, move your phone close to the AirDresser, your phone will prompt you to select Wifi for the AirDresser (choose the same wifi as the phone's wifi), the two devices will automatically connect;
Your phone will notify Successfully connected; On the AirDresser control panel, the Wifi icon will light up in the top right corner of the screen.
On your phone, select Complete to finish registering AirDresser with your phone via SmartThings. Once the registration is complete, AirDresser will appear on your smartphone.
Step 5. Using the SmartThings App
On the SmartThings app screen, select your AirDresser to use. Follow the steps according to the prompts from AirDresser and your phone.
On the SmartThings app, a notification will appear: “Press the SMART CONTROL button on AirDresser. (Do not press and hold)”. Press the Smart Control on the AirDresser control panel to connect.
On AirDresser, when Smart Control connects successfully, the wifi and smart control icons will illuminate.
On SmartThings:
(1) Touch the name of the NORMAL cycle to select the appropriate cycle.
(2) Press Start to execute the cycle.
At this point, AirDresser starts the cycle according to the control settings from the phone via SmartThings.
Note: SmartThings can be used when both the phone and AirDresser support the feature.
