If you own a 2006 or newer BMW 3 Series with a CD player and the Premium Package, linking your Bluetooth-capable mobile phone is a breeze. Refer to Step One for detailed guidance.
Procedures
Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone, if it's not already on.
Insert the Comfort Access key into the ignition, but avoid pressing the Start/Stop button.
Depress the left-side radio knob to activate the radio.
Hit the MENU button on the radio.
Rotate the right-side radio knob to navigate to PHONE. Press down on the knob to select.
Use the right-side radio knob to scroll to the screen's bottom, then press it to choose PAIR.
Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile phone and choose your BMW (it should start with BMW and end with the final eight digits of your BMW's VIN).
When prompted, input a memorable passcode on your mobile phone ranging from one to sixteen digits, then confirm it.
On your BMW's CD radio, use the touch keys to enter the identical passcode and press the CONFIRM touch key.
Your mobile phone with Bluetooth is now successfully connected to your BMW 3 Series.
Retrieve the Comfort Access key from the ignition slot. You've completed the process.
