Unikey supports Vietnamese typing mode when users input Vietnamese text. However, if you need to type in English, you can also disable the Vietnamese typing function to switch to English typing mode on Unikey.
Guidelines for switching between English and Vietnamese on Unikey
To switch from English to Vietnamese, use shortcut keys in Unikey. First, determine the correct shortcut key. Press Ctrl + Shift + F5 -> Unikey interface appears (Alternatively, after installing Unikey, the program icon will appear on the taskbar of your computer, simply double-click to open Unikey),
Next, pay attention to the Switch Key line: If it's CTRL + SHIFT , this will be the shortcut for switching from English input mode to Vietnamese and vice versa
If the Switch Key line is ALT + Z , then ALT + Z will be the shortcut for switching from Vietnamese input mode to English and vice versa
So, after identifying the shortcuts, every time you use Unikey, you just need to perform the operation CTRL + SHIFT or ALT + Z to easily switch between English and Vietnamese input modes.
