How to Cook Delicious Braised Pork with Turnips - Mytour
Ingredients:
– 400g pork belly
– 2 white turnips
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– Dried shallots, fish sauce, seasoning powder, chili, spring onion

How to Cook Braised Pork with Turnips:
– Choose pork belly with thin skin, white, crispy fat. Then, rinse it with diluted salt water for a cleaner meat. Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces, marinate with a little fish sauce, seasoning powder, MSG, pepper, and crushed dried shallots for 30 minutes to let the meat absorb the flavors.

– While waiting for the meat to marinate, make caramel sauce by putting sugar in a small pan, heat until the sugar turns brown, then add a little water until it thickens.
– Peel and clean the turnips, slice them into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle with a little salt, then mix with the marinated meat for 15 minutes.

– Place pork and turnips in a pot over medium heat until the pork is slightly firm, then add enough water to just cover the pork and turnips. Bring to a boil for the second time, then season with spices to taste. Let simmer until the pork and turnips are tender, add some chili if desired for extra spice, then turn off the heat. Your braised pork with turnips dish is ready.
