Creating a New Post in WordPress
Follow the steps below to create a new post in WordPress:
Step 1: On the WordPress interface, locate and click on Posts =>Add New.
Step 2: The screen will display a window for creating a new post on WordPress, as shown below. You can also use the WordPress WYSIWYG text editor to add content to your new posts.
Here are the editing fields on the new post addition page:
- Post Title: Enter the title of your post.
- Post Content: Input the content of your post.
Step 3: Click on Publish button to publish the post you just added.
Below are some other options available in the Publish section:
- Save Draft: Save the post as a draft.
- Preview: Preview the post before publishing.
- Move to trash: Delete the post.
- Visibility: Change the post display mode to Public, Private, or Password protected.
