ZOOM Cloud Meetings (abbreviated as Zoom or Zoom Meeting, the website is Zoom.us) is a useful solution that supports people to easily and effectively conduct online meetings, classes, and teaching. Register on Zoom.us, create a Zoom Cloud Meetings account
Open a new tab and proceed to log in to the email you provided in step 3, then click on the Zoom message sent and click on 'Activate Account' to confirm your email.
Step 6: Zoom will open a new tab with the Welcome to Zoom interface. Here, you fill in the fields:
- 'First name': Enter your first name.
- 'Last name': Enter your last name.
- 'Password': Enter your password.
- 'Confirm Password': Re-enter your password.
Then, if you're creating an account for a group, click 'Yes', otherwise click 'No'. Proceed by clicking 'Continue'.
Note: For the password, you need to enter 8 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numbers. Only when you enter the correct password as required can you move on to the next step.
Step 7: In this step, Zoom asks you to invite friends to join Zoom. Enter 3 email addresses and then click on 'I'm not a robot'. Proceed by clicking 'Invite'.
Step 8: You can click on 'Start Meeting Now' to begin creating a classroom or meeting.
Step 9: As shown below, you have successfully created a meeting room and registered. If you want everyone to join the meeting or class, click on 'Launch Meeting'.
Note: In addition to creating a Zoom Cloud Meeting account on PC as shown above, you can create a Zoom app account using the following methods:
- Account via Google (You are logging in with email. With this method, you don't need to create an account or password).
- Create an account via Facebook (Use Facebook to use the Zoom app to log in, no need to create a new password).
- Create an account via SSO (Use an SSO account to use Zoom).

To use the Zoom app for effective online learning and meetings, you need to pay attention to the following:
- Use a fixed Zoom ID to manage your Zoom account information best because when using a different Zoom ID, you will randomly join online classes or meetings. To set a fixed ID, you need to click on New Meeting then click on 'Use My Personal Meeting ID', then continue clicking on New Meeting.
- Change meeting passwords to secure information on Zoom. However, changing passwords only applies to personal meetings, not regular meetings/classes, where you cannot change them.
- Invite others to join meetings/classes: You can invite via email, phonebook, copy URL, or invitation.
- Remove the 40-minute limit on Zoom easily allows you to teach or study effectively for a long time without interruption.
