A Header is an introductory information section at the top of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. Inserting a header in Word is straightforward as it is displayed directly while composing the document. In Excel, you can also insert a header, but due to its focus on computational tasks, creating a header differs from Word. This may pose a challenge for those wanting to create a header in Excel.
Typically, a header goes hand in hand with a footer. Although headers and footers in Excel don't offer as many customizations as in Word, they still fulfill some basic functions that users need.
