As you are aware, WinRAR is widely used software for compressing and extracting data. If you wish to create an .EXE file within WinRAR, you can follow the steps outlined below.
- Get
- After installing WinRAR, select the folder you want to compress, then right-click and choose Add to Archive.
- Once you've selected Add to Archive, a window will appear to set the compression mode. In this window, enter the name of the compressed file in the Archive name field or use the default name.
Next, to convert the compressed file to an EXE format, check the box next to Create SFXArchive.
- After checking the box next to Create SFX Archive, the compressed file format will automatically change from Rar or Zip to EXE as shown in the image.
- Next, click OK to proceed with the file compression process. Once the file compression process is complete, your compressed file will look like this.
