We often associate PowerPoint with professional presentation software, but few delve into its unique features. In this article, Mytour introduces you to the incredibly convenient and simple method of creating animated GIFs with PowerPoint.
To create GIFs in PowerPoint, you need to have PowerPoint 2013 or later installed. For versions before PowerPoint 2010, you can only create videos, not GIFs directly with PowerPoint.
Step 1: Create a Slide to insert images using New Slide (1). Then, click on Slide (2) => Insert Photo (3).
In Step 2: Proceed by inserting images. Choose the image (1) => Open (2). Continue inserting all images into each slide, one image per slide.
Step 3: Once images are inserted into desired slides, start creating a gif with Powerpoint. First, click on the File menu.
Next, select Export (1) => Create an Animated GIF (2). Set the transition time for slides in Seconds spend on each slide (3), and finally click Create GIF (4) to generate the GIF image.
Step 4: Choose the file location (1), name the gif image file (2), and save it with Save (3).
