1. Creating Grids with MathType
Step 1: First, open MathType and go to the Format tab, then select Define Spacing as your first option.
Step 2: In Define Spacing, find Line Spacing and adjust it to 100%.
Next, adjust the value of Operator spacing to 1%, then click OK.
Step 3: Here, type Y then press Enter, and select the upward arrow Up Arrow.
But remember, before that, you need to go to Format and choose Align Center after typing the letter Y and pressing Enter to go to the next line.
Step 4: Similarly, type X and select the left arrow Left Arrow to achieve the result below.
Step 5: Select the icon below to proceed with creating grids using MathType.
Step 6: Here, choose Rows and Columns as 8, then simply click on the gap between cells to create dotted lines as desired.
Step 7: And the result will be as shown below after clicking OK.
Next, you add numbers to the chart to complete the diagram. Note that the sequence -2 is used by Mytour to align the cells, and it will not be displayed when exported to Word.

Step 5: After that, press Ctrl + Tab to create spacing as shown below.
