Burning MP3 files onto a CD allows you to enjoy your favorite tracks on CD players, which is especially handy for those without digital media or MP3 players. Most popular music player applications, such as iTunes, Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, and Winamp, support burning MP3 files to CD.
Instructions
iTunes

Open iTunes and select “File.”

Click on “New” and choose “Playlist.”

Assign a name to the playlist, then simply drag and drop songs from your iTunes library into the playlist window on the right side. You need to have a playlist set up before you can burn songs onto a CD.

Insert a blank CD-R disc into your computer's optical disc drive.

Select your playlist and click “File.”
Choose “Burn Playlist to Disc,” then pick either “Audio CD” or “MP3 CD” as the disc format, depending on your preference.

Click on “Burn.” The process may take several minutes to complete, and Windows Media Player will notify you when the burning process is finished. If your playlist exceeds the disc capacity, you will be prompted to insert another disc to continue burning.
Windows Media Player
Open Windows Media Player and navigate to the “Burn” tab.

Drag and drop songs and playlists into the burn list on the right-hand side. Ensure that the songs are arranged in the desired order on the CD by adding them to the burn list accordingly.

Insert a blank CD-R disc into your computer's optical disc drive.

Click on the burn tab located at the top right corner. The icon is reminiscent of a piece of paper adorned with a green checkmark.

Choose “Audio CD,” then press “Start Burn.” The process may require several minutes to complete, and Windows Media Player will eject the CD upon completion of the burning process.
RealPlayer

Open RealPlayer and navigate to the “Burn” tab.

Select “Audio CD Burner,” then insert a blank CD-R into your computer's disc drive.

Press “Burn” located at the top of RealPlayer.

Click on “Select CD Type” under Tasks in the right sidebar.

Choose either “Audio CD” or “MP3 CD,” then click “OK.”

Click on “Add Tracks from my Library,” then choose “All Music.”

Drag and drop tracks from the left to the burn list on the right. RealPlayer will provide updates on the remaining disc space as you add tracks to the burn list.

Click on “Burn Your CD.” The process will take several minutes to complete and will notify you when the CD has been successfully burned.
Winamp

Launch Winamp and insert a blank CD-R into your computer's disc drive.
Click on “View” and then select “Media Library.”

Select “Blank Disk” from the list in the Media Library and then click on “Add” at the bottom of the Winamp window.

Choose the playlist you want to burn, or click on “Files” or “Folders” to search for music.
Highlight the tracks you wish to burn to CD, then click on “OK.”

Click on “Burn” at the bottom of Winamp, then select “Enable Burn-proof mode.”

Click on “Burn” in the Burn dialog box. The burning process may take several minutes to complete, and Winamp will notify you when the CD has been successfully burned.
Tips
- When choosing a disc format, consider “MP3 CD” if you aim to burn hundreds of songs to a single CD, as opposed to around 20 songs with other formats. MP3 files can be compressed more efficiently than other file types, allowing for a larger number of audio tracks on one disc.
