1. How to create notifications, set reminders, and jot down notes in Zalo groups on a computer
Step 1: For the Zalo version on a computer, creating announcements or sending information or plans within a group involves creating notes as described in the image below. Click on the 3-dot icon in the group chat window -> select Create a note
Step 2: A new interface appears -> proceed to enter the announcement content and pin the created note.
Step 3: Right after creation, the notification is displayed at the top of the Zalo group chat window, and the text color changes to highlight the announcement, note, or reminder.
Step 4: When you or any member in the group clicks on the created notification, the full content of the announcement, note, or reminder is displayed.
Step 5: In addition to creating announcements and notes in Zalo groups as demonstrated, you can also schedule appointments and reminders for members in your group chat.
This reminder feature allows the creator to enter reminder content, choose a date, time, or set up periodic reminders after a certain period.
Step 6: And the result is that the reminder will be displayed on the screen as shown in the image below. With this reminder, all members in the Zalo group will see and know about it.
When you click on this reminder -> you will see the full content of the reminder created by the person.
2. How to create notifications, set reminders, and jot down notes in Zalo groups on your phone
The process of creating announcements and scheduling reminders for Zalo on Android and Zalo on iPhone is the same. Therefore, we will demonstrate how to do it on the Android version.
Step 1: In the group chat interface -> click on the three dots icon as described in the image below:
Step 2: Next, click Create new -> select Reminder (in older versions of Zalo, you may be allowed to choose Notification or Reminder) to create an announcement in the Zalo group.
Step 3: In the reminder interface, besides adding content and quoted links, you can also add a specific reminder time to notify members in the group. After entering the reminder -> click on Create to complete creating announcements, notes, and reminders in Zalo groups.
Step 4: If you had pinned content before -> there will be a notification as described in the image below to remind you. You can choose to Pin the note or click Close.
Immediately in the Zalo group, you will see a notification with the accompanying reminder displayed.
3. How to create polls in Zalo groups on your phone or computer
Creating a poll in Zalo on both computer and phone is as simple as creating an announcement, as explained earlier. For instance, when doing it on Zalo PC, instead of selecting Create a Note to make an announcement or create a reminder, you will find a similar option to Create a Poll -> of course, you will click on this feature to create a poll in this case.
